The Entitled

Filmul isi contureaza ideea destul de bine de la inceput insa pe parcursul lui este mediocru, o da dintr-o drama intr-un semi horror (cu fuga aia prin padure cu lanternele dupa). Tot filmul dupa a mea parere este facut de final la care sincer nu ma asteptam (asta astept de la fiecare film) tinand cont ca se vedea ca tipul era  "scolit" si stia ce face, micile detalii din parcurs rezolvand tot misterul in final.

Paul Dynan's life is turned upside down when he decides to kidnap three young socialites and hold them ransom to save his family. Things spiral out of control when his psychotic partners get trigger happy and his victims come with their own surprises. When blood is shed and his perfect plan goes horribly wrong, Dynan must fight to stay one step ahead of his own twisted game.

The Darkest Hours

Sec, sec. Nu stiu daca as putea adauga alte cuvinte. Actiunea nu porneste chiar din neant ca se observa fulgere din timpul zborului, dar restul actiunii e prea rece ... "venirea" acelor monstruleti s-a facut destul de repede, la fel de repede si dizolvarea orasului, iar fuga lor para una haotica fara sens, ei ramanand un grup mic si singur intr-un oras parca prea brusc... e slabut filmul, chiar si finalul putea aduce ceva nou, dar a dezamagit + foarte multe clisee.

The Darkest Hour

The American software designers Sean and Ben travel to Moscow to sell their software to investors. However, their Swedish partner Skyler pulls a fast one on Sean and Ben, and they are out of the business. They go to a nightclub, where they meet American Natalie and Australian Anne and they flirt with the girls and see Skyler in the club. Out of the blue, the population is surprised by lights, which they mistake for natural phenomena. But soon, they learn that the lights are aliens invading Earth and using power supply to annihilate mankind. Sean, Ben, Natalie, Anne and Skyler hide in the kitchen and when they leave the place, they seek out survivors on the street. Are they the last people on Earth?

Nu inteleg acel " Survive the Holidays ", filmul este lansat pe 25, dar nu vad corelarea dintre.

The Damned United

Genul de film despre fotbal care mie sincer imi place, inspirat dupa oamenii care merita si care-au spus o poveste frumoasa dintr-un imens numit fotbal. Fara filme gen 'green street hooligans' si asa mai departe. Sincer, nu stiam de Brian Clough sau de performantele acestuia cu Derby County si Notthingam Forest in special (de traiam in era aia macar:)). Aici se vede cat se dedica un om pentru fotbal si momentul cand se arata adevarata lui valoare. Actiunea se petrece repejor totusi si sare prea rapid de la un moment la altul, daca ratezi unele momente e pacat. N-as vedea un Becali in anii '70 :))

The Condemned

N-am inteles 2 lucruri la filmul asta :)) De ce trebuie sa folosesti o femeie intr-o astfel de lupta cand e clar inferioara , si al doilea , daca tot au fost puse in actiune , de ce au disparut asa repede? :))))) In rest se merge pe ideea tipica de survivor dintr-o lupta care se duce intr-o jungla. 10 oameni scosi din inchisoare de catre un necunoscut (cam usor si lucrul asta ca dehh, e film) si aruncati intr-o lupta in care ultimul scapa de sentinta la moarte si este lasat liber in lume. Finalul este acelasi la orice film, castigatorul isi ia teapa si nu se alege cu nimic. Aici castigatorul a parut sa fie altul, in actiune se precizau momentele in care unul din ei este ajutat , insa momentul initial n-a fost capturat. Si un ultim lucru, sunt atatia destepti ce lucreaza in IT pentru firme si organizatii, FBI mai mult se uita la streamingul live decat sa se foloseasca de unul pentru a opri macelul

The Condemned

Jack Conrad is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.

The Beach

Filmul cred ca trebuia sa-l vizionez in alta stare :))) oricum el incepe ok, dar actiunea pare putin grabita chit ca lungimea filmului se apropie de 2 ore. Di Caprio e mare actor si are talent pentru orice fel de rol pe care-l primeste. De asemenea cred ca este un fel cu mai multe tipuri de final , fiecare imaginandu-si cate unul in momentul cand actiunea originala o ia pe alta cale fata de cea imaginata de cel ce vizioneaza. Lumea " de dincolo " era destul de interesanta si ma mira faptul ca era destul de putina lume. Per total e ok, se putea si mai mult. Starea luata pe insula ma asteptam sa apara mai greu, dar cum paseai in acel loc deja erai in lumea lor, prea rapid.

While at a hotel in Bangkok, he finds a map left by his strange, whacked-out neighbor, who just committed suicide. The map supposedly leads to a legendary island paradise where some other wayward souls have settled

The Crazies

Un alt film apropiat de cele facute special pe baza " sfarsitului lumii ", insa acesta acopera doar o zona, urmand a se extinde... se pare ca imi plac din ce in ce mai mult aceste filme cu anumite contaminari (probabil si serialul 24 la care ma uit si nu-mi lasa timp de filme isi spune cuvantul).

The Basketball Diaries

Filmul e unul destul de vechi si astfel surprinde 2 actori in floarea varstei , Di Caprio care sincer imi pare mult mai tanar fata de titanic , chit ca-i o diferenta de 2 ani , dar si Mark Wahlberg care arata foarte bine, zic. Are  un corp lucrat frumos si o atitudine de rau iesita din comun. In schimb , parerea mea e ca titlul nu prea defineste filmul, intradevar este o poveste care implica baschetul, dar destul de diferita de restul filmului. Se putea continua zic cu povestea echipei in care cei 3 jucau sau cu succesul celui care n-a cazut in patima dependentei de droguri , ca despre asta e mai mult filmul. Finalul este iarasi prea brusc si din scurt parca, cand intra la inchisoare si urmarea o vedeti voi. Filmul e bazat pe fapte reale, sincer ? nu ma mira !

The Basketball Diaries

Jim Carroll is a high school basketball player. His life centers around the basketball, and his dream is being a basketball star. Once in a while he gets stoned with his friends, and step by step, he falls into the dark world of crime and drugs. Once his mother expelled him out of the house, he goes into the streets of New York, and together with his friends they take drugs for which they steal, rob and even kill. As the time pass, Jim's situation becomes worse. It looks like he will never get out from the his drug addiction.

The Bank Job

Da , am revenit si la un film totusi (Vplayul e de vina) , am inceput sa ma uit la serialul '24' si am lasat pentru o perioada filmele deoparte si azi s-a vazut putin, a intervenit plictiseala de cateva ori :D. De la filmul asta ma asteptam la mai multa actiune , in prima parte a fost foarte molcom si parca lipsit de chef revenindu-si in a 2-a parte cand lucrurile au inceput sa se complice, se descopera actantii jafului , apar mai multe chestii ce s-au furat si asa mai departe. Faptul ca au respectat destul de bine trasaturile anilor 1970 il face 'vazubil' doar ptr acest aspect , sau limbajul colorat si aici ma refer la accent :D

The Bank Job

Business is slow for Terry Leather, a London car dealer, married with children. He's an artful dodger, so Martine, a former model with a thing for him, brings him her scheme: a bank's alarm is off for a couple weeks, so let's tunnel into the vault. He assembles a team, not realizing her real goal is a safe-deposit box with compromising photos of a royal: she needs the photos to trade for avoiding a jail sentence - and MI-5, or is it MI-6, is pulling the strings two steps removed. A Trinidadian thug, a high-end bordello owner, and a pornographer also have things stored in the vault, so the break-in threatens many a powerful personage. Is there any way these amateurs can pull it off?

The Avengers

Ok , incep prin a spune ca nu sunt adeptul filmelor de SF sau cele cu super eroi si bullshit de genul , nici cand eram mic nu am agreat desenele de genul. Filmul este destul de plictisitor si plat si nu apare nimic sa surprinda , e tipic acel cliseu de genul bine vs. rau cand e clar cine castiga (bun pentru bac la basm! :))). Mai e Downey Jr. acolo care da 2,3 glume si mai schitezi ceva pe chipul tau deja plictisit. Tinand cont ca Batman e ocupat cu propriile filme , Spiderman mai lipsea in film :)))). Probabil parerea se trage si de la faptul ca n-am vazut restul filmelor ce au ca personaj principal personajele de aici , doar Iron Man care a fost de 8 asa

The Great Debaters

Filmul este inspirat din realitate si sincer nu ma mira , e vorba despre tema rasismului disputata la inceput doar de cei negrii , urmand apoi si albii sa iasa la rampa, concluzia o stie fiecare presupun. Ce e fain la film e ca Denzel aici joaca si rolul de regizor, dar si actor si vad ca'i iese destul de bine , discursurile fiind foarte puse la punct , dar ce'i drept iti trebuie mult timp ca sa citesti la fel de mult sa stii cum sa contracarezi adversarul. James Junior e chiar fiul lui Whitaker , iar daca il searchuiti putin o sa vedeti o mare schimbare la el si o sa descoperiti multe filme in care a jucat cu roluri mai mari sau nu. La sfarsit am observat "produced by Oprah Winfrey" , that's nice :D
